Chronological One Year Bible Reading Plan: Numbers 24-25
Scripture of the Day: Job 12:7-10
When I was still a student, I developed the habit of reading a book by the pond at a park. I enjoyed doing that not just because of the tranquility but also due to the relaxing and refreshing feeling sitting in the midst of nature brings.
Nature has a way of communicating to us. If you try to observe a duck swimming on a pond, or just stare at a beautiful rare flower, you would be amazed at how much they could speak to you, without being able to utter a single word. Even without them telling us, they are one of the loudest announcements of God’s glory.
For this reason, if you feel exhausted, just take a walk along a park lined with trees, or stroll along the river or lakeside. In so doing, your morale would definitely get a boost. The flowers tell us that God provides clothing. The mountains declare the nearness of the heavens. The lakes and rivers remind us how vast the earth really is. The list goes on. We really don’t have to look further. Nature reveals God’s magnificent masterpiece. It tells of the genius painter that God truly is. Only, God’s painting is infused with life.

or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.” (Job 12:7-8)
Reflection: If you need time to seek God, visiting a nature spot would help you communicate with Him. Whenever you are having a hard time hearing God, let nature gently remind and tell you what a master artist God is. He doesn’t only sketch. He brings His artwork to life.
Prayer: Thank you Father for your wonderful creation. As communicators of your awesome majesty, allow me to learn from them. Amen.
